Exodus 3:7-8

7Then the Lord said, a“I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their btaskmasters. I know their sufferings, 8and cI have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and dto bring them up out of that land to a egood and broad land, a land fflowing with milk and honey, to the place of gthe Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Exodus 19:4-6

4 h'You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how iI bore you on eagleswings and brought you to myself. 5Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be jmy treasured possession among all peoples, for kall the earth is mine; 6and you shall be to me a lkingdom of priests and ma holy nation'. Deuteronomy 15:15
